So the hubby and I have made a life changing decision (with the guidance of God of course), we’re moving to Atlanta, Georgia!
Make no doubt about it I am UBER excited. Yet there’s something about Texas that makes me not want to leave. It could be that the majority of my family lives in Texas OR I’ve lived in just about every major city in Texas OR the majority of my friends live here OR there’s no place like home!
Either way I feel like Abraham when God told him to leave his father’s house and “go to the land that I will show you”. Talk about stretching your faith! But the benefits that awaited Abraham upon obeying God was probably more than Abraham could have even thought of. There’s something about obeying God and acting on the word that He gives us. God honors obeidence, so much so that the Bible says that obedience is better than sacrifce. So in other words no matter what we think we could give up for the “sake of God” it doesn’t measure up to how honored and loved He is by us us obeying His voice.
Well I go willingly and full of hope, anticipation and openness to what He has in store for us in Atlanta though never forgetting all of the great blessings that have been given to me in Texas.
Ahhh the great state of Texas, how I will miss you so/ but I gotta go/ ATL is calling my name/time to give God fame (<<
